Daryl Mitchell is an all-rounder who bowls medium pace and made his First-class debut in the 2011-12 season and came averaging 54.53 the following year. Mitchell was called into New Zealand’s Test team in late 2019 after Colin de Grandhomme was injured and assured 73 against England in his first innings.
In February he made his international debut against India in a T20I and scored his maiden Test hundred at the start of 2021.
Mitchell made his first ODI debut against Pakistan in Christchurch and won his first ODI century that March. Mitchell played a key role in the 2021 World Cup in the UAE and made 72 against England in the semis.
Mitchell won the New Zealand A squad to tour India and Sri Lanka.

Mitchell had struck two hundred against India in a single edition and became the first batter to score he struck a 127-ball 130 of the ODI World Cup during the semifinal at the Wankhede Stadium and he struck an 85-ball hundred on Wednesday.
